I plan to solo the mighty Zakum in this time. I do not plan to visit sleepywood.net at all for any type of fake schedual. I DO plan on treating Zakum like what it IS. A PQ. I want someone to come up to me and tell me they "reserved" this spot 4 weeks ago. This is exactly what I will say. "Bgrmystr2 : You must be new here. Welcome to Maple Story! This is a Party Quest. It's a competition where people compete to get in by clicking on that NPC. That way people don't hoard the PQ, and it's fair for everyone to try and get in." Unless they waited for 4 weeks in this same channel, on that spot for the channel to open, and actually click to get in, I suggest they fuck off. I don't steal channels and I never have. But I will not leave an open channel. Sleepywood does not own Maple Story, nor does it own the Zakum altar. I couldn't give a flying fuck what you do on your fan site. If you're not in front of that altar to PQ like we were meant to. If you don't click to get in like everyone else in every other PQ. Consider yourself fucked. And before I get threats of I'll be mass ks'd, reported and defamed? Got that covered. One, I've done nothing wrong. I treated Zakum like I treat every other PQ. Kerning, Ludi, Monster Carnival? Click to get in or wait till they're out. The way it's supposed to be. False reports. Two, KS'd? Heh. Reported for harassment. There's not a single class besides a Magi that would KS me at 125. So good luck. Three, Mass defamed? Guess what? I've got friends that can fame me back. Plus reported for harassment AGAIN. Alright, so whether I live or die on this Zak run, I don't care, I want to try. Also, Who's in Broa and either wants to tear up Zakum, or knows someone who does? We'll find a good time to go. I know it sounds like SW's setup, but yes. Scheduals are not bad. Hogging is. And that I refuse to take. So, whos with me? |

Maybe you should correct some of the typos like "horde" into hoard and "alter" to altar. Those really confused me there for a sec.

If people can't just go on a zakum run whenever they want to because of a FORUM that isn't even affiliated with Maple Story, then it's a system that only people who have AGREED to follow the rules of are a part of. I don't remember the Maple Story ToS stating that we must abide by sleepywood.net's rules so we simply don't fucking have to. I fully agree with what Bgrmystr2 said about the difference between scheduling and hogging and I, too, fucking hate how they hog it up and harass people who don't follow this schedule. The run times are given priorities to well known guilds and groups. It just isn't a fair way to do it. If someone wants to do a run, they should be able to just go ahead and fucking do it.

I mean, I've heard plenty about the possibility of lag, but then why is every other PQ allowed on every channel? What is it that makes Zakum that different? Sorry for my ignorance, but as far as I know, Zakum is still just another PQ. Right? I want a Z-Helm just as much as the rest of you, but I'm not paying 35 mil, or more just for someone to temporarily hijack my account so that they can get a helm for me. Uh uh, no way. I'd rather get it myself, thank you. And if that means waiting months for me to make enough levels so that I'm strong enough to survive in there, then so be it.

And if you're worried I can solo zakum... then be more "worried" that you'll actually earn a Zakum helm if I kill it lol Just joking, I doubt I could solo it. TreeCracker soloed it, I think, and he was like 170+ or something and 4th job nightlord and it took him a ton of hours to do it. And he was using apples. StealthHeero said: "yo henry im in but i only wanna go when im at 0% yay a good chance to get a zhelm for free ^_^" You only lose 1% if you die in Zakum. 1% isn't really worth worrying about imo  1% exp loss is the type of loss that people remove a charm from their inventory when they are about to fight certain bosses [like papulatus, zakum, etc] since it just isn't worth wasting a charm for such a negligible amount of experience points.
