About my anime pic thingy, I'd really like to find an easier way to get straight lines, but:

I overuse the Shift button. You know how in GIMP when you use paintbrush/eraser/pencil/etc and click, then hold shift, it'll make a straight line? That's what I do for about 90% of my lines. I mostly do that on the straighter parts, but by using a lot of lines carefully, I can make it look like a normal, straight curve. To make it blend in more, I use the eraser in the same way. I carefully shave a bit off the edges, so it's hard to see where each line starts and ends. And for the nice, sharp edges on the lines, I have to take the eraser and use the Shift-line thing to carefully cut the ends off and make it pointy. It gets to be a hassle and it takes a good bit of time to sharpen it all up, but it does come out looking pretty smooth. And I'm a perfectionist when it comes to these things, so I hate not having nice lines. XD

I'll keep working on my art and making it better. I still have a long way to go, but ever since Maplestory sparked my creativity and love for drawing 2 years ago, I've improved vastly, and I'm sure to continue getting better and better. (hopefully, I never forget to add ears to my characters ever again. Though I still consider Henesys Defendors to be one of my best and favorite works, the lack of ears on a few characters was a huge mistake.. XD)
