As you are aware Showa Town is one of the best towns because of its action and guns, but then GMS and Nexon decided to be idiots and give us a wimpy kiddy version that sucks and looks lame

See the Awesome Npcs firing missiles? That's the KMS version, that's awesome, and what KMS has, but look what we got

Nexon America's idea of a Kiddy Showa town is a joke

They have the TOS make people age 13+ before they can play yet they treat us like we are 5 year olds

It doesn't matter if ESRB will rerate the game to a T because 13+ players already are only supposed to play anyway

Even though 12 and under people play thats not our problem

I've seen a SEVEN year old play DOOM 3, and its at least 5888 times worse than anything the real showa has

Some of you may argue that it doesn't matter as long as the drops and exp is ok, but it takes the theme and enjoyment out of the game. I mean, give me a break, instead of guns, SLINGSHOTS???

Ok, lets give you your poorly conceived argument for a second, cartoon guns encourage people to kill each other, but lets have swords, it encourages people to stab each other, the bows encourage you to kill people with arrows, and ninja stars encourage you to kill people too. In other words, you are already encouraging killing, so don't give me that bull

Keep RPGs dark and violent and dont spoil the fun

Damn right.

Nexon's already got enough violence, THEY THEMSELVES used an official banner that says, and I quote:
"MapleStory, the only place where you can run away from home and get away with murder"

There was another phrase in there, but I don't remember what it was. Though some people haven't seen it, I have.

So, instead of Yakuza gangsters firing guns, we get Dragonball Z wannabes?

C'mon, the game is all about the weapons. From the very beginning, we've had weapons to buy, and use, and things to kill, and so far, it hasn't been a huge problem. So why is it now an issue?

Is it because of the possibility of human vs human combat? Can't be, otherwise, they'd just take the gangsters out altogether.

Is it because they're gangsters? Are we not supposed to know that there are people out there in gangs, using guns, and committing all sorts of heinous acts of violence? Guess what? You're too late! We already know! Read a book, a magazine, watch TV! It's everywhere now! You're not gonna hide it by censoring a small part of the game.

This game has been violent from the get go, and they're just getting around to censoring it now? Wow!

As far as content, this game has:
NO BLOOD
NO GORE
NO NUDITY
NO CURSING (Except from the players)
NO DRUG REFERENCES (again, from the players)
NO SUGGESTIVE LANGUAGE (Damn those evil players)
NO EXCESSIVE VIOLENCE (Oops, well, you got me there)

This may have been said before, but the children of today are exposed to far worse things in today's world, and MapleStory has absolutely none of them.

There is protection, and then there is overprotection. Guess which one this is.
