Hopes and Aspirations. -

This is perhaps my first actual blog, but only because I finally have events to write about.

First and foremost, I've finally experienced the raw power of having a level 50 'sin. 50 is a great number for various reasons. At 50, I have maxed haste. Plus, I get to equip the sexy zhelm and PAC. I worked my butt off leveling the past weekend just to ensure that I'd hit this level in time for a Zak run. And I've been working like crazy for approximately three weeks just to save up for all of my equipment. As some of you may notice, I pop online at such random times during the weekdays just to do trades and scan FM, trying to make any amount of money I can. And thanks to the help of a few people (they should know who they are), I was able to make pretty decent money in a relatively short amount of time.

So when I hit the 60 mil mark, I decided that it was time to get that long-awaited zhelm! There were a few groups with whom I considered running, but I eventually decided to go with Momentum. I was scheduled for the Tuesday (April 15th) run. I admit that that day was perhaps one of the longest days I ever experienced, even with me preoccupied with a full day of classes. It felt kind of silly, but I was just that anxious.

I kind of figured that some incident would occur to prevent me from getting my zhelm, and, sure enough, I was without a zhelm the following day. I asked the runners of Momentum, and they said they had technical difficulties (which I'm too lazy to explain at the moment). So I was put on the next run, which was that Thursday. It kind of made me a bit disappointed, but since I had other stuff in life I had to deal with, the next days didn't drag as much as that Tuesday had. Thursday night comes, and I happened to check Profil3 in time to read Scott's comment of "Good news!" When I heard that I got my zhlem, of course I logged online to check. And there it was: a sexy zhelm! Totally worth the money I saved up.

Sold a few other things, saved up for a PAC. So my set was complete. 'cept the Basil trader for my PAC was a bit frustrating with his inconsistency to sell me the cape. But it worked out in the end, so yay. I definately wanted to MCPQ to check out my new damage. Apparently, though, whereever I went with my zhelm, I either got defamed or the party would run away from me. It kind of made me lol at how immature Maplers are, but, at the same time, I wanted to PQ and help my buddies level up some, so it was annoying that we couldn't get a party. I've been trying to save up NX through MTS for a hat to cover the zhelm anyway, but I was short 900 NX. It's really thanks to Chris that I got a hat to cover up that zhelm (I do owe him for that now, in addition to other stuff), and I didn't have any more problems for the rest of the night!

I kept killing myself to make sure I'd stay at 50 for my friends to catch up to me and move on to the next PQ together. But I'm kind of getting tired of MCPQ (after all those failed necklaces I keep getting). And LPQ is a nice borebreaker, but having done it so much tonight, I'm getting tired of that as well. I kind of want to level up and move on already, but I guess I'll stay back and help my friends level up first. That and it's going to be a while 'til I can save up enough money for a decent Bracer. So no need to rush leveling; why not just kickback and have fun?

And hopefully, I get Maple married tomorrow, too, so that'd definately open up APQ for me. But eh, we'll see what happens with that. Depends on which guy wants to Maple marry me and which actually has the NX to do it.
