School (Chem) sucks - Take two [Warning, swearing] -

While being thrilled by my 18th birthday and stuff, it's about time I made a trip back into reality. Or as I like to call it, my - currently - pretty sad life.

It's been (and it doesn't seem to want to end) quite a shitty period for me, to be honest. My mother keeps annoying me and spazzing at me despite I'm doing better that the other years - in fact, the only subject I'm virtually bad at is Chemistry - and it doesn't really matter if I explain her why I'm not doing well. She wouldn't listen. She'd still urge me to trust the teacher and please her by partecipating into her additional classes (for students who aren't doing well in Chem) which have the same effect on me as her normal lessons: I don't learn shit. I know right now you might be wondering: What's the problem? One always has weaknesses. The problem is, though... no one else is really getting anything. Pretty much only the geeks and the above-average studying people are getting decent marks in Chemistry. Should I mention one of our best geeks who got 5, which is something in-between D and E in American valutations, in the last test?

That woman's one of the biggest morons I have EVER met. She pretends - literally - that we still remember stuff from the FIRST DAMN YEARS (like salts >_>; ) while in this one we're doing something completely different like Organic Chemistry. And not only that: Even as I try and attemp studying a topic, for example, she starts two different ones the day after. It's imposslble to keep up with her damn pace. And then she has the freaking guts to complain and claim she's surprised that more than half of the class is doing bad in Chemistry? I wonder what the hell she's doing teaching in a high school. A HIGH SCHOOL, god fucking dammit. I would expect some more professionality from a teacher, let alone the godforsaken headmistress. However she can't teach for crap, so maybe she'd be better off doing her original damn job or go fucking clean toilets. She's been a nuisance last year as well, but this time she's making me freak out.

Thanks to a new law it's something I can't ignore either since even if you are doing bad in ONE subject (and if it stays so until June, it's called Formative Debt in Italy - forces you to take a test next year to recover it -), you are going to lose access to the Final Graduation Exam at the end of the fifth year. Right now, I'm a fourth-year student. I think it's unfair to not be able to go to college because of a subject you don't even want to study after High School, and that you overall find uninteresting. Especially when you have a teacher such as mine. Seriously... I would just get a C or something and be set with it, but because of her my career is potentially getting screwed. >_>;

Raptor Jesus. If I weren't such a polite and civilized person, the headmistress would be so friggin' dead right now.

P.S. The good old "You can always try again next year" thing doesn't apply to me, I'm afraid. My class is the last one that was formed into this school. After us, the Institute will close its doors and will cease to exist. You see now why I'm so worried, don't you? I don't want to start over... >_>;
