Post Blogs?: Not really.
Reason: I think blogs should be used for special announcements. Iif everyone is allowed to post blogs, then it'd just be blogs spam because blogs are more easily seen than threads. Also, like you said, you have no control over what happens in the blogs. What if someone posted an inappropriate blog but you could do nothing about it? Also, I'm not trying to get anyone mad by saying I don't want the ability to post blogs back, so yeah.  **I'm not entirely come back from my Internet break.

Reason: I don't like asking for things. If we could all be mature about it and leave it for the important things, then I believe we should have it back. Important meaning "LOL THIS GUY DIED IN MS TODAY 5% DOWN!$3431" is not important. I say we should all have the ability and anyone who misuses it will have to go through the Yuval system "pm him, wait for a response".

For example, some people posted blogs with their panels for the project, so the notices and stuff went down.

Reason:I like the way they are right now. The only difference between the forums and the blogs are that in the forums you cannot put in pictures. However, if you want to show pictures, just make a photobucket account and post the picture there and make a link. Easy as that. I think the blogs should be only used by Helpers to get out some somewhat important issues, like Lexus's RPG. Just post the random crap in the forums, I check the forums more than the blogs anyway. I said somewhat important issues because the uber important issues that would last longer should be stickied.
