Allo and greetings,

This little blurb is for anyone who wondered (I know you all didn't care/miss me but this makes me feel special) where I have been. Well I fully intended to work hard and study deeply last week (BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA! of course not!) but things didn't go that way...YAY! Anywho, It turn out that one set of my fathers holidays happened to align with my little brother spring break. Now I say his spring break because the concept of spring break is something a bit lost to me.I affectionately refer to spring break as "that-time-I-used-to-get-a-break-but-now-little-punks-get-it-and-I-don't-the-little-bastards." Oh well, such is life...little bastards.

Back on topic, My father decided that this would be a grand old time for us to spend some boy time together...gawsh gee yippity yip skipperoni. Conveniently I was sick this week so I wasn't missed at work(jk). So, fulled on testosterone and a little help from his savings we proceeded to spend a week of doing stuff together.

Now I could write it all out, but I will use the old adage "A picture is worth a thousand words."
-cracks fingers- lets do this!

Picture Number One: (Bungee jumping bridge)
Day one of Dad and Co. adventures we went BUNGEE JUMPING! There is nothing quite like standing 140 feet above rocks and water and trusting your life to an elastic chord and some jump masters whose main pastime probably involves smoking weed and shotgunning Budweiser (or both at the same time!). So, we payed 100 each bucks for this privilege and proceeded to walk up to the top of the bridge. Now let it be noted I had no intention of doing this, I even stated so before going. The other two made a point of harassing me and talking about how easy and how they would just "walk off and it would be so easy." Funny how blind fear changes ones cocky attitude eh? my father took 14 minutes standing at the edge to jump and my little brother took ...ready for it? 26 minutes and then didn't jump. They must walk awfully slow... In the end i gave in and it took me 1 minute to jump (thats right, I had to show them up). ALL HAIL ME AND MY BRASS ONES!

Picture two: (probably the most un-flattering picture of me EVER! A.K.A training to Para-glide)
Yes, thats right next up is para-gliding. This is the part where you are trained so that you can fall to the ground with a piece of canvas and not die. Kinda important eh? So we were unleashed on the training hill and after plenty of falls, mini take offs and generally painful harnesses (the men will understand), We got the basics of para gliding.

Picture three: (my favorite part of training...not)
Walking back up the hill is fun...not.

Picture Four: (we're about to tandem jump!)
My first flight! Yay!, granted it is with some one who is trained but still. You can see the thoughts running through my head as I stand next to one of the Tandem instructors..."Do I want to trust my life to the this American?" (I kid I kid, I like Americans...PLEASE DON"T SHOOT ME! I"M CANADIAN AND TO PRETTY TO DIE!)

Picture Five: (we're about to go!)
I'm all decked out and about to leap 1600 thousand feet into the air above Washington state with some one I just met, sane much? I think not. Though I have to admit that the helmet I'm wearing is pretty much the sweetest thing ever...why is it that para-gliding equipment makes me seem really really gay?..
(after thought: I'm in the background and that old looking mug in the fore ground is my father who is probably taking the picture)

Well, thats that. I'm done typing and if you actually read that you need to go outside and contemplate how you can better spend your time...like, go watch paint dry.
Aroan,
