Hey guys and gals, just wanted to clear up any rumors, but I haven't officially quit. I'm really close to it, and was even considering to strip and npc all my equips. But I won't be doing anything that drastic for now, it seems as if the dupes have been patched, and after thinking about it I would rather give/donate my equips to my friends and guild instead of just nuking 'em like that.
I think the main reason why I'm leaning towards quitting is because of the time that MS takes away from me and also that it hasn't been as fun for me lately. I love my friends and guild, that's the only reason why I haven't just full out quit, but the overall fun factor and enthusiasm for the game has been lacking.
Nevertheless, thanks as always for your support.

And gg, UCLA barely made it past the second round . . . on towards the Sweet 16 lol.

Well, looks like the dupe has been patched, but Nexon didn't removed the white scrolls or the items that were already duped. I'm on the verge of quitting or going on a long break myself.

I feel the same way as you. Maple has lost it's appeal to me, even on private servers I can barely get a character past level 5x with 8x exp. As for GMS, I can't stand the way Nexon handles things. On the private server I played, a duping incident started happening too, it took no more than a day or so for the 3 developers, yes 3, to patch it up and take care of the problem. Why it takes a company like Nexon weeks to fix something blows my mind. I have officially stopped training on GMS, I consider myself retired, all I log on for is to talk to people on my guild and buddy chat. Just do what I do, keep your items and keep your character intact. Your character's equips are the product of your dedication and sacrifice. And only log on to chat and maybe do a boss run once in a while.
