Those crazy dupers . . . -

I also posted a response, which you skim down below. Basically, I will pull a "PitifulHero" (haha Matt being used as a verb) and npc all my crap, then officially quit.

It's all good though, since I'm having so much fun with SSBB, and I'm getting quite good with Wolf

Damn, this is really unfortunate, and really sad. Even if it's just a few people that know how to dupe, it potentially ruins the game at the expense of millions.

Nexon better address this quickly and prudently.

Hell, if Nexon has no plausible way to remove all the duped items and scrolls that have already been created, then all future legit scrollers and scrolling will be at an unfair advantage. How can you compare to a CMS-esque perfect everything? It just takes away all incentive, fairness, and fun. Or take "godly" items that have already been created. All the hardwork and even luck can just be thrown out the window when even if it's a few people are running around using and/or selling duped 21 atk bwgs and perfect equips.

Yes I'm sure that Nexon will fix it, and from what I gathered there is a patch tonight of some sort. But if they don't have a way to remove the already duped equips/items, and not just the ability to dupe, then screw maple. Like steroids and baseball, there will be an underlying feeling of tainted scrolling/stats. Do you want to attach an "*" to a person's stats because they might be even unknowingly using tainted equips? I mean geez, I'd love to be able to buy/use a 21 atk bwg for instance, who wouldn't (besides you mages lol)? But if it had been created in a non-legit way, then screw that, what's the point and sense of satisfaction?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how Nexon can rectify this unfortunate situation. But if the rumors even in Bera have not been exaggerated (people dropping w. scrolls in the fm, I mean WTF!?), and there are perfect equips and hundreds of white scrolls that are not eventually removed by Nexon, then even if I may be one of the few, (and you can quote me on this since I'm a man of my word), I'll quickly change my status of "retired" to "quit" and you'll see my quitting thread under the Bera forums. And just to prove a point even if it's pointless and stupid to you, I'll npc all my crap (and I mean everything), since a duper can create (or already has) better stuff and erase all the hardwork and legit achievements of the majority in a few seconds.

I admit I haven't been keen as of late with MS-related issues, but this one caught my eye. And don't worry I'm not going emo lol, I'm just using this as a last-straw excuse to officially quit. Regardless, I've got my SSBB, so if you want to play me add me.
