Are you really too much of a wimp or do you cherish your friendship too much?
If it makes you feel that bad, just go for it. And going to the movies is a pretty good idea (well, it's something that friends do too, so you might wanna be a bit more specific when you ask her. The exact opposite happened to me once. I asked a girl friend out to the movies [just to do something "as friends"], but she thought it was a date).

oh come on, if u REALLY seek for love and u REALLY think that she's the one, y r u hesitating?! give it a shot, i mean she's still ur friend so i guess she'll definitely go to the movie with u. although i can't guarantee wat would happen if u ask her to be ur gf but i guess u guys can still be friends no matter wat happens. alrite, i've got to admit that everything i said is just my personal assumption which was based upon the way i think. yes i am a girl, but girls vary.. a lot!
