Muncie - SuLynn Marie Thornton, 22, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born November 2, 1985 in Muncie, the daughter of Mark A. Thornton and Loretta (Herbert) Thornton. SuLynn was a 2004 graduate of Muncie Southside High School. She had attended Ivy Tech, enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program. She was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene and the Young Adults Youth Group. She also worked with pre-school Sunday School at church. Suzy was an amazing friend to so many people and touched so many lives in a remarkable way. She was a great photographer, a terrific writer, and an amazing daughter and friend. It's so deeply sad to lose someone so young, with so much to offer the world. She was willing to go above and beyond to help anyone and everyone, stranger or friend it didn't matter... I'm sorry for your loss Lyn. Losing a someone that is close to you is always hard. Although she is not with you anymore on Earth, she will be in memory. As time continues on Earth, you can only hope but think that one day there is some type of afterlife that may reunite you, until then continue to seize everyday and look forward to tomorrow.
