My hormones are so screwed up. I go out with a guy, and 3 weeks later, I don't like them anymore. It's so strange. It's like... I just get sick of them and can't stand being with them anymore. And that feeling continues even AFTER I break up with them, and I'm cold to them for at least a month.
But anyway. I'm wondering WHY I stop liking a guy only 3 WEEKS after I go out with them. I feel terrible, unfaithful, and sIutty. How do you guys keep relationships running for so long?
I mean, with all my online relationships, they've lasted 4, 8 months. But real life relationships, for me, only last 3 weeks MAXIMUM, 2 days minimum...

Well, 3 weeks is a little unusual, that's right. But I've not teh best at keeping partners either. I just feel like she's boring me after a while and i want some fresh flesh O_o (okay , that sounded a lil wrong).
Shortest relationship: a week
Longest relationship: 13 months.

well from what ur saying...id jus have to say its becuz you need to regulate ur time with them....liike in real life, you always see them alot and its hard not to get tired of them after a while
Online on the other hand you have the ability to leave at anytime ..so its easier to stay longer i suppose

I think on average every highschooler has it at least once or twice a month. (from me + my friends' experience)
Plus the reason why your "Online Relationships" last longer is probably because chatting online with someone are exaggerated (at least I think it is), compared to real life conversations. Like honestly, I don't know anyone who actually laughs out loud 100% of the time when they type lol.
Chatting online kinda gives you time to "edit" what you say before entering it right? That's probably why it's more "lively" than actual convo's. Hence it lasts longer.

i would think that you find everything about a person faster when dating them in real life.

In real life you suck up all the info from them in a short time

Skye... Because you are taking things wayyyyyyyy to fast.
You gotta build up a really good friendship before taking anything to the next level. And if you do it should be mutual and there won't be a need to call it a 'boyfriend' or a 'girlfriend' because the two of you will know what it is. Also building a close friendship first is better because even if the two of you do go out in the future and then don't, there's still a relationship between the too. Even though it's hard to do this at first just trying to be friends, it'll be benefical in the future. Like I've been trying to do for about a year.
How do you guys keep relationships running for so long?
- I've been liking this guy for like 2 years now and still counting ...
and i know it might like relate to your story , but .. what keeps me from liking him more and more each day is that I "seek" him in a way where I can see in another way. I become friends with him and i just makes it interesting for me ..

Perhaps you are not ready to love someone yet. Maybe that is what your emotions are trying to tell you. I don't know why you are feeling this way. I hope that your relationships improve and stuff. Good luck to you <3

I was like that for a while.
I would go out wth a girl and we'd break up in the same week.
My shortest relationship was I think, four days?
My longest relationsip is still going on actually, 2 years and 10 months 
I don't know how I did it, but my first relationship lasted 3 months ._.
