Guild scavenger hunt - Mar. 15, 2008 - Heaven Sword, scavenger hunt

Who: HeavenSword Guild
What: Guild scavenger hunt
When: March 15th at 9 PM PST/12 PM EST for the Americans; March 16th at 3 PM AEST for the Australians
Where: Dr. Bosch's office (a.k.a., Ludibrium Plastic Surgery), Ludibrium (Ch. 8)
Why: Because we haven't done a guild event in awhile since the GPQ debacle *looks at Dante* and we thought we were due!

The Objective
To be the first entire team to gather/perform the required items/tasks and return to the starting point (i.e., Dr. Bosch's office, Ch. 8).

The Rules
Note: These are subject to change depending on who shows up.
1. There will be two teams that will be led by me & someone else or, in the case where we have an uneven number of people, two others who will be determined at the start of the hunt (I will referee). Depending on who can make it, teams will be divided by traveling speed (e.g., Magicians & Thieves), killing speed (e.g., level 70+), and whether they have a Profil3.

2. The list of items/tasks will be prepared by both team leaders and will be descibed in a blog that will be revealed on the day of the hunt *cues dramatic music*.

3. Locations will be limited to all of Ossyria Island (except Minar Forest because it's just too easy to die there T_T) as well as places accessible from the island (e.g., Zipangu & Florina Road).
4. Use of traveling scrolls is allowed however "shopping" for items in the free market is prohibited (I'd like to think we can all abide by the honor system, but if this is a concern, we can always assign each person a "track" from the other team that they can randomly check to make sure that he/she is abiding by the rules).

Note: Pay attention to the quantity because it is an additional clue as to what you might need. Also, screenshots must be posted on their Profil3 AND a link to the screenshot must be added to the comments section of this blog.

Clue #1: Elena is a notorious stalker. Sometimes I wish we could tie something to her that would make a sound so that I'd know when she was coming. I could've sworn I got something like that for Ericsson's pet, Nero, that might do the trick...

Clue #2: One thing that might have helped some of the Guild PQ-ers survive was that thing that I gave Hoony for his toothache. Then again, +30 weapon defense may not do much against 700 weapon attack...

Clue #3: Find someone that has completed the fourth job advancement. Take a screenshot of them performing their skill while you say "ZOMG!?! UR SO PRO!". Post it on your Profil3 as well as the link to the screenshot in the comments section of this blog. Remember that the Free-Market is off-limits.

Clue #4: I don't know why I keep playing against Lylee in Match Cards, especially since my memory sucks (and he CHEATS). There's another game available, but I heard that it takes a while to collect the pieces to make a set. I have a table, but instead of wasting my time gathering pieces I may not even like, it might be helpful to look at each of the four pieces that are available locally so I can figure out which ones I like the best.

Clue #5: The doll version of this banana-throwing "distant cousin" of ours is cute and cuddley. However if you visit some species of this animal in a zoo, it might throw something a bit more disgusting than bananas. O.o That's why we're sticking with the doll.

Clue #6: It seemed like such a waste of perfectly good food just to summon three King Goblin's. The pork sounds good, but what the heck is buckwheat paste? O.o

Clue #7: Mr. Do may look like a mad scientist, but he does make some things that may be useful. His Bellflower medicine soup & pill of intelligence may prove useful to Maplers who are just starting out and want to get a little "boost".

Clue #8: Go to a certain cave, say "Ian-us is a NUB!", take a screenshot, and post it on your Profil3. Be sure to have your mini-map showing the name of your location and post a link to the screenshot in the comments section of this blog. Oh, and watch out for a big fish that goes by a similar name... O.o
