yknow where to get your images how to make cool effects tips and tricks for managing your workspace while making comics storyline pointers ect. It is meant to be incredibly comprehensive, so it will be done sometime next weekend or even the week after that. |

I think that might be a problem. How are you going to do that. I assume that you are running on Photoshop when I say this. You are making a photoshop guide when most of the people who want to create a comic probably do no have that. Unless you are going to create a guide using Paint, then many people are going to have no clue what you are talking about.
Photoshop is also a very complex program, at first. Most people who have it, already are very versed with it. The others should read guides on more broad areas, like rasterizing, layers, custom shapes and all that fun stuff. Another thing about great comics is the editing. You can't really write a guide on that...I think? Overall, I think you have good intentions but it would be very hard to implement if you were to use Photoshop as the main paint program of the guide.

To Zatrox: I will be looking forward to this guide as your comics are beyond awesome.
To IamRight: Even though he's using photoshop for his comics, then people will still be able to get a lot of good things out of it. And those using it (the guide) can just download paint.net, it's free and there's (according to my own little experience with both programs) a couple of similarities. So even though the guide is based on photoshop, paint.net users will still be able to get a good amount of advices and tricks out of it.

yeah its mostly techniques im teaching anyway, which can be implimented with any editing program with basic layer and organization features. its kinda gotten delayed cuz im making it a video now but i will get to it!! as soon as i play some Cod4!.....

I actually have like, 5 funny jokes that my friends liked and I want to make a comic of 'em, but I suck at MS Paint, Paint.net and Gimp lulz. HALP PLAWKS. yay, too bad i dont have any knowledge on how to get a free copy of photoshop.
