my work burnination - burnt hand, stupidity

audrey inspired me to write this story after reading her burnination story.. it is 100% truthful.

when i was 17, i used to work at a place called bruegger's bagels. it was a place where we sold bagels (obviously) and bagel sandwiches (cut bagels with stuff in them), soups (irrelevant) and the best thing that goes with bagels, coffee.

anyway, i worked as a closer, which meant i had to work the last shift where very little people come to get anything. also my duties involve cleaning the stuff up, closing up, sweeping up, all that nasty stuff.

one of my duties involves cleaning out the coffee brewing machines. and in order to do it, you have to fill a huge gallon cup of insanely boiling water, which is around 150 Fahrenheit, and then just filling the coffee machine with that water so next morning its already sort of warm and clean.

enough background. on to the story. one tuesday i was cleaning up and put the gallon cup to be filled up with the water. my manager called me and the other person to talk to us about some random bs and i forgot i had the water running. so when i comeback its overflowing. so being the smart guy that i am i grab hold of it and try to move around (im really weak and it weighs like 4 kilos). the tip where the handle was the water went over the hot water started running down on my arm. i was like "LOL WUT? wut this painful feeling?" then looked at my arm and saw incredibly hot water going down. i let out a very girly scream and droped the water jug. i went to the back got neosporin out of first aid kit with my friends help. im right handed and my right hand was injured. neosporin DOES NOT WORK. anyway i ended up with an XBOX HUEG blister at the middle of my hand, and also a row of blisters where your fingers meet the palm of your hand. they all had to be drained by the doctor five times. i still have scarring there. its not really visble, but it's still there
