Apparently, I just can't stand the absence of not having a lovable dog so I might be allowed to get one sometime  . I need some dog advice from anyone who has a pet. Preferably a dog owner. Taking it for a walk? How often? Anything else I gotta buy for it except dog toy, dog food, leash? Oh and where can it sleep? I don't want it to go poop all over my bed x_x.

taking it for a walk? it depends on the kind of dog, but at LEAST once a day, especially if you keep her cooped up in the house. You'll also need a dog bed if you dont want her sleeping on your bed. Also, you're goin to have to potty train her so that she goes poop outside instead of on your bed. good luck to u! ~

Definitely walk it at least twice a day, preferably 3, especially if they're short walks. Dogs, especially puppies, need to get out and exercise a lot. It would also be a good idea to get a large crate that you can put the dog to keep it out of trouble because a lot of young dogs shouldn't be left alone for too long since they get into things they shouldn't. Make sure it's large and comfortable though (put something soft in the bottom). Also, give it plenty of toys and attention because a lot of times bored animals can become destructive.
Good luck if you get one. Puppies can be annoying sometimes, but they usually become loyal friends if you treat them well 
@RaeAlethea: Yeah luckily I live near this park where I can walk a dog and there's a big field too. Thanks for your advice.
@eggy: I know about the dog house thing but my mum's a bit worried about how much we'd have to pay in total for a dog because we already spent loads overseas for souvenirs and stuff. Thanks eggy =].
Note to those who are trying to help: It's not guaranteed I'm getting a dog but when I do get 1 I'll try post a picture up for everyone to see .

You should probably put a pile of newspapers in a corner for your dog to do its business when it can't for any reason outside. D:
Collar, leashe, food bowl, water bowl, and I recommend a KONG toy. (Basically a chew toy with treats in the middle)
I took my dog walking twice a day for about 1-2 hours a day. It's just me, you don't need to do it for that long =]
