Team Medical Dragon focuses around a genius surgeon, Asada Ryutaro, who's methods have made him a bit of a renegade in the eyes of Japanese doctors. The manga exposes the "illness" of the Japanese hospitals and how their system is not designed to care for the patient.
The manga is appropriate for mature audiences and contains blood, nudity, harsh language, and sex.
Review by Deathroses:
Absolutely loved this manga. The first few pages may throw you off, but come chapter 2, you will be hooked, I am sure of it. Yes, it does have some nudity and sex, but like less than 2 pages worth in about 30 chapters. There is quite a bit of blood, but this is a medical manga after all. For those who may be interested, there is a live action series available, seasons 1 and 2. It is a little different, not as good as the manga IMO, but worth a look. The manga is a must, though. Enjoy!
Side note: How true the grievances the manga lists, it is hard to tell, so try to take them with a grain of salt and just enjoy the story. Thanks.
