I was posting about something that had to do with existence, not religion, and that's where I assume he got the urge to mail me.  Bold = Him. Him = imapig So u dont belive in god? that shows how weak and ignorant you are You think I am weak and ignorant because I do not believe in a god? I am not weak. I choose to accept cold hard fact, over faith in something that cannot be scientifically proven. I am not telling anyone they are wrong, and I would never think less of anyone because they are a certain religion/believe in a certain god. You should take some more care, because religion doesn't make you a person, and you should not hate on anyone that chooses something other than yourself, because we are all equal, no man is better than the next. Sciencest prove 2 things jack and crap and jack just left the building so they tell crap Well, consider that if it wasn't for science practices, we wouldn't have medicine, or cures for diseases, babies born healthily, and many other things that keep people alive. You call that crap? Science can only progress the world, only brings good things. If you think that all that has been done is crap, I think you need to take a look around you. Ignorant athiest... No, I am very openminded. Ignorance is when you shun all other ideas completely, like what you are doing to me. Why cant u have faith in god, god gave science the knowledge it has now. the great albert enstien was christan, why cant u be Well, it's my choice! Faith just isn't something I am willing to go on. I take comfort in believing in things I can see, or have proven right in front of my eyes it is real! Faith is all about believing in something that cannot be proven. (If you look it up in the dictionary) And I'll also have you know that christians have tried to hold back practices of science and medicine because they thought it was magic and trying to kill god. =( Christians thought it was the work of satan, and many times, burned people for being witches because they were trying to find special properties in plants that today we know heal us and make medicine ingredients! And I thought Albert Einstein was good at math? Both, and you can see god in your face..What about when i miracle happens? Where does it come from..where did the universe come from...Where did the big bang thory come from oh u dont know..it came from god u dumbass Why are you being so rude? =( As for miracles, it's all up to probability! If you ever learned that in math. Also, christians don't believe in the universe and anywhere beyond what they can see in the sky, that believing in planets is considered herecy so you can't say that. And the big bang theory is about gasses colliding and creating an effect. Because science is stupid...uhm so your friend dieing is probality...you getting child support is problity ur dumb Huh? >_< I don't even know what you are talking about now. your saying everything is probatlity so your friend dieing is problity living is problity? Uhm going to the bathroom is probilty..getting child support is probality Probability is the chance of something happening, based on what we know about it. So the probability of someone dying, is all about how much you know about them, like if they have liver problems, if they smoke, if they do dangerous sports, you can determine a probability of someone dying. You can determine the probability of the same person living if you know how how much help they have to stop smoking, getting a liver transplant, or by simply wearing a helmet if they do those sports! The same goes for the probability of a kettle boiling over if you leave it on too long. |

i don't believe in a god, but i also don't not believe in a god.
everyone is right in my opinion. people who oppose other people's beliefs should be locked up in jail. InfiniteDoom said: "I'm a Christian but I would never do what this guy did. Who would do that? I believe (as a Christian) sometimes the best thing we can do is get out of the way." I think that should apply for everyone. I would never single anyone out or discriminate them or send such messages to anyone because of their religion like that. xP And I understand that it's the individual that do these things, not the group of people, and I wouldn't generalize (Even though it is an alarmingly high amount. >_> ) Just live your lives the way you feel is right! But no one has any business in anyone else's. xP

I don't think he had very cogent arguments. I think bringing proof of God is heresy (gasp). God must be accepted on faith. Speaking of faith:
Faith just isn't something I am willing to go on. I take comfort in believing in things I can see, or have proven right in front of my eyes it is real! Faith is all about believing in something that cannot be proven. (If you look it up in the dictionary) You contradict yourself. You say you like believing in things you can see, but say that faith isn't sufficient for you. How do you know what you sense is real? You have no evidence. Your senses could easily be incorrect. Believing your senses don't lie is faith.

Logically, there is a 50/50 chance for there to be a God. There is no proof either way that shows either way is right, and so a lot of people bet that he exists because after all, they won't lose anything if they are wrong and atheists don't really gain anything if they are right.
This is much higher than the 1 in six hundred thousand trillion chance of the big bang, evolution and billions of years. We are unable to create cells out of unorganic matter without organic matter with all of our great intelegence. If I point to a computer, a car, a cell phone or even something as simple as a aluminum can, you would admit that those things have a creator. But then I point to something as complex as a living creature; birds, dogs, people and the environment we live in and you say that it happened by chance. I'm not going to shove it down your throat, but I will provide valid points for an arguement. Feel free to counter them if you can or wish. =] also, about probability:
everything is probability. Take this example: A cat is in a box. The lid is open. When the lid is closed, a hammer strikes a bottle of poison and the cat has a 50/50 chance of living. so, yes, getting child support is probability. what if the child support team decided to skip you? highly unlikely, but it is possible yes, your friend dying would be probability. come on. we learn this in the third grade.
