I am NXless. Huh? "What's that Astro doing on your forehead? And weren't you white at first? OMG HYPOCRITE! NX FRAUD!" Correct, I have anf Astro haircut and my character used to be white. But I myself NEVER spent a penny (or in my case: an Eurocent) on this game. The NX was a present of a friend because he did not want me to get to level 70 with a Monkey Do. I am, directly and indirectly, constantly reminded of my NXless, and not by Nexon, well, actually, I am reminded by that of Nexon, but that is not their fault. I absolutely hate to see threads with titles and contents like this: - "LEAFRE SHOULD BE NX ONLY" (sometimes temporarily) - "NXless only can get to 4th job" - Maple should be P2P" - NXless are hobos" I gives me the feeling I'm a lesser kind of person because I do not want to spend any money on this game, that can also be played for free. And because I don't do that some NXers get the feeling I am leeching of their game, since they are spending money on it, I am not, and we're both playing. So what? It was their choice to spend money on the game, and my choice not to. If they want people not to "leech" of them they should sign a petition or something. (they hardly ever work, but whatever) Or they could stop using NX, but they don't want to give up on their luxuries. They also say that my unwillingness to spend money on the game shows I don't care for the game itself. I do; I'm legtitimate, I report hackers, I'm just not willing to spend any money on it. People who don't spend NX are noobs. THey don't spend NX because they're afraid they might lose it if they're getting banned. Maybe that does go for some, but not for all, just like not every NXer hates the NXless. I'll finish this blog later, dinner's up. -unfinished- |

Spending money on the game is an option, not a necessity.
That's about all I have to say about that (lol, that reminds me Forest Gump).

I'm NXless too and now that I think of it, I never really thought why... Let's see if I can find out why...
1. Well, first of all, as I said, I play on and off due to university and soon (I hope) work so I don't like the idea to spend my money in things that will disappear after a while. What if I'm not able to play during that period or just the most of that time? That would be wasting money and, trust me, studying away from home (where I live for almost 9 months out of 12) I don't have that much money to waste, I'd rather buy a book (I really love reading, I have more than 500 books). 2. I think that NX look improvements are just a showoff, so they're useless and there is no point in buying them just to show them to others. I don't even follow fashion in real life, why should I do that in a game? 3. The only things I could be tempted to buy are the 2x EXP and DROP cards but the reason number one say why I don't. The same goes for the store permit (is it a NX item, right? I never really checked on that) even if I never really needed one. Am I right? Cash Shop items disappear after a while, right? I'm a bit ashamed but someone told me that and I never really checked... It won't change much anyway. I will remain NXless forever. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't want to support Nexon, but I really started this game because it's free and then found out that I like it very much but I don't think I'll play anymore would it require a payment of some sort. EDIT: Too many "that" in a short sentence

i honestly would rather spend money on magic cards, than ms. i miss the over 90 dollars i already spent on this game. yes

XD We have exactly the same points and I too LOVE reading (only I borrow the books at a library) and I got a job recently (to fund my education; it's like 3000 bucks per year) and I don't use NX for the same reasons. And I kinda wear the style of clothing that was in 2 years ago; bootcut pants, T-shirts and shoes with flat heals. Now tight pants tucked in high, leather boots with high heels are in. Neh, I don't like high heals (not comfortable) and my ankles are weak; I'd tip over and break them. (I nearly broke them before so I limp when I walk) I don't really care for fashion; what is practical (and cheap, but of good quality) is what matters. I'm not sure if Maple would be worth the P2P. I did play WoW for a bit and found it fun, but when I discovered it was a private server I quit. -sigh- Well, since so many people do buy NX and wish Maple were P2P I guess that game IS worth it... My brothers own a lot of Magic Cards as well. The good thing about Magic Cards is that you can sell them once you're done playing, and some cards you get from Boosterpacks are worth quite a lot. One of my brothers once got a card worth (about) 20 dollars from a Booster Pack. When you buy NX.... well, you could sell the account, or so.... but the NX would no matter what expire. :S

I think I'm one of the highest, non-hacker, players that is NX-less in all of MapleStory. The only NX I've used was from the Mom & Dad quest (bought a Mushroom transforming thing, but forgot to use it and it expired), no 2x EXP Cards or drops, no Gachapon tickets, I'm just that awesom.

I spend about....$50 on Magic cards a year...and I've spent about $270-$280 on NX Cash...I know that it's pointless, but Gachapon + Store permit = fast money, and pets are very usefull when they have equips (meso magnet, item pouch, scrolled accessory). Also, I like making my character look like me in real life, or how I would like to look. It's just fun to deck out the character, and I don't spend that much on clothes either...mostly my pet and Gachapon. (Btw, all that money is a combined amount of all that I've spent over the past...*counts*...almost two years now that I've been playing, over my 3 accounts.)

Heb alleen NX voor m'n mini Kargo meej zo'n item pouch en een meso magnet...gewoon omdat ik te lui ben om alles op te rapen. Toen ik in Amerika was heb ik 3 10K NX dingetjes gekocht, zien er best melig uit =P
ik geef ongeveer per 3 maanden 8 euro ofzo uit, en dan 1x 3 maanden helemaal niets, omdat ik dan nog genoeg heb.
