Just took a Plan Test and the Princeton PSAT this year - i r thrilled.
Why?
Cuz they calculated everyone's scores to the real thing.
My scores =D
SAT: Estimated at 1850
ACT: Estimated 30-33
And I just took the real SAT too - my school conducted it for free practise. Can i break 2000?
And test facts just so those of you who are about to take it in the future can familiarize yourself with it.
SAT and ACT are standardized tests for college admission that go in harmony with your high school GPA. Everyone takes it senior year high school. However, lots of students have had the opportunity to take it maybe, eh, once or twice or more before then, and get the full experience of it.
SAT: Writing Section (Essay): 800 points - writing a fully informative essay with concrete examples in 25 minutes
Math Section : 800 points - algebra, trigonometry, geometry, etc.
English Section: 800 points - critical reading, passage-based questions, grammar, vocab
add up to 2400. Selective colleges accept seniors with an average of 2000 (Like Uni of Florida ^^), but mostly they look at your math and english.
ACT: Out of 36 points.
Selective colleges accept students average 22-26
Very selective universities have freshman with average 27-30
I've never taken the real ACT before, so i cant say much about it.
Sorry, I just had to say all this, i never expected to do this well.
I'm in 10th grade, by the way =D

I got a 640 on the Crit. Reading, a 650 on the Math, and a 530 on the Math section of the SAT.
I'm taking it again in a week or two.

But if you meant that you got a 1290...holy crap.
I've always known the real SAT was harder and more accurate than any imitation PSAT.

The only test I've taken is a CareerScope test.
It points out your fields of interest in career groups.
And the only field of interest that I scored higher than the average range was the Artistic group of careers... EVERYTHING ELSE WAS BELOW AVERAGE. O.o
I suck.

The 530 was on the Writing section. It needs work. lol

yeah i sucked at the writing portion too. first time i ever took i got a... TWO. WAAAAAAA! but my multiple choice stuff pulled the overall number score for writing to a 6XX something. just write more than half a page....
