rofl jones at your ps......

FYI I came from a private high school and personally I think it's a good idea. But then I wasn't big on socialization and public schools cramped me so maybe that's why >.>
But really Jones you should listen to your own body and conceptually feel out what kind of high school you're more comfortable in. If you feel public school is more comfortable for you, and you can study and function better among the masses, then you should say so. I'm a BIG advocate of letting people (no matter how young or old, clueless or wise) be the one behind the wheel in choosing what kind of life they want to live. If you wanna be a hobo, fine just don't expect to live long. If you wanna be successful, great just expect some fkin tough competition. In my mind, I think doing things that way helps the person in question grow up and be what they want to be. That way time, effort, and etc won't be wasted on "dumb crap that nobody cares about" Parent's are merely guides...observers really...that are there to make sure that the path you took doesn't turn out to be a dead end.
So don't totally write off your mom. Just find some time to yourself (just you noone else) and really think long and hard about this. Because any decision you make will affect the rest of your life forever. Trust me. Been there done that. And you will have to do it all over again for your career choice (DO THIS FIRST) and the choice of college that comes with the territory.
