Tales of Symphonia - 5 Volumes + Volume EX
Artist: Ichimura Hitoshi
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Fantasy, Mystery, Romance
Description (Courtesy of MangaUpdates.com)
Once upon a time, there existed a giant tree that was the source of mana. A war, however, caused this tree to wither away, and a hero’s life was sacrificed in order to take its place. Grieving over the loss, the goddess disappeared unto the heavens. The goddess left the angels with this edict: "You must wake me, for if I should sleep, the world shall be destroyed." The angels bore the Chosen One, who headed towards the tower that reached up unto the heavens. And that marked the beginning of the regeneration of the world.
Colette is the next Chosen of Mana to undertake the Journey of Regeneration in order to regenerate the dying world of Sylvarant. On the Day of Prophecy, Colette receives the oracle at the Martel Temple and thus began her journey to heaven. Together with her two childhood friends Lloyd and Genis, her teacher Raine and the mercenary Kratos hired to protect her, they set off on a journey to regenerate the world.
Review by Deathroses:
A lot of people probably know that the manga is out. The OVAs (first 4 - the Sylvarant side of the story) is also out. So, this is more like an 'I'm Baaack' review than anything. Plus, I really enjoyed playing the game. Both are well-done, but since it was a pretty long game, the story has been compressed. Extremely. Still, it's something for the fans and worth a watch.

Hiya, 'I'm Baaack'
Well, sort of anyway. I took a break from writing up reviews because I needed the time to juggle some important school work and because it just did not seem like there were a lot of people who were following them. Well, I am still busy but I have decided to resume my reviews, though not on a regular basis. I will try to do one a week, but it won't be on a set date anymore. Feedback is welcome and I hope that you will enjoy reading my reviews as much as I enjoyed and will continue to enjoy doing them for you.
Thank you and cheers
