So it's been a while since I wrote anything here.
I made level 70 on July 1st, 2007.
Then I struggled through 10 levels of boredom. I'm finally 80 now, just a little past the new year. Still lagging behind everyone else. 
Got a 99att Gold Arund. Terribly underpowered, but I'll upgrade it sometime. Gonna probably scroll a better WG first then try for a bow. Now in the process of taking everything to the next level.
So over these 10 levels I've been outleveled by at least 6 friends. I don't plan on catching up any time, since they all train more than me and are richer (Grr rich people).
But I had fun. Everyone encouraged me to go train. Thanks all.

PS. If you're reading this and thinking "pssh, level 80 is nothing", I'm proud of my characters and I play mostly for fun.

I remember my level 80.
Horrible times. lol. tried scrolling arunds. =X
But it was all downhill for me from 8x. Squids are awesome Exp.
A few extra dex or atk won't matter, really, not in real game play. Looks nicer on the stats screen though. 
I'm a total damage-obsessed person though. Unless it's vs some funded ranger/sniper with godly equips, I can't stand doing less damage at the same level.
Bands: I'm up for anything.
But unless that person is uberly funded with godly equips, they won't know you're weaker without you telling them your range. The instability of our damage helps. 
I like what you said about enjoying your characters and mostly playing for fun, I like to think I'm the same way.
