Yesterday I finally reached level 40, and that meant a complete change of wardrobe (which I did today btw). I did Robinson's quest to get a Red Pilfer, the level 40 thief hat with +2 LUK in it so I finally changed that brown bamboo hat I had since level 25. The only things I didn't change yet were the shoes and gloves... Being honest I don't know how I'm gonna make it since the only way to get the level 40 ones is either by dropping them or making them and the latter option needs at least 5 garnets and several drake skins... I think I'll train a bit on Sakura Cellions again.
By the way I'm a little preoccupied since this is the last change of wardrobe I could buy; the equips for the next one (level 50) aren't for sale anywhere in the world and that means I have to drop them or keep my eyes peeled for any Free Market or Basil offer; oh, well, I'll come up with something in the future.
As for today's rant I wanna talk about Amoria quests... To me they're pretty useless, I mean there are:
1. The repeatable class quest: for thieves that means traveling to Ludibrium, reaching Acqua Road and then again to Amoria in a day (you have one day to get back or the letter disappears)... are we mad? An expense of 22000 mesos for 1000 exp and 3 (THREE!!!!) food items or 3 diamond ores? Well, if it was ONLY the diamond ore I could have thought about it (the Florina Beach quest requires 3 processed diamonds and that means 30 ores) but since the possibility to get them is pretty low I don't think it's worth the expense.
2. The "Circle of Truth" chain quest (2 quests): That's a bit better since the sum is 7000 exp and some elixirs, but still you have to find 20 items that are a rare tweeter drop... I hate flying monsters, so I'll pass
3. The "Red Dahlia" quest: now this is an easy quest with a decent reward, 3500 exp and a scroll (60% shoe for speed) but Ben refuses to give it to me... gah...
4. The "Beauty or Beast" quest: that's absolutely a waste of time... Bringing 25 squishy liquids to get 500 exp and a coupon for a randum haircut (That can be bad too)... I have better things to do now other than that.
And then the worst of them all... The "Sakura Garden" chain quest (2 quests):
For the first part you have to get:
- 25 Cherry Blossom Seeds:
that's an absolute pain in the arse; this is a rare Sakura Cellion drop and it's not easy to get because all the Sakura Cellion maps are usually already taken. I did this quest only because I needed to train on Cellions to get a little money and it was 2x exp time back then
- 10 Silk Feathers:
that's a Jr. Lioner rare drop. I decided to get them only because I had the blossoms, there is an entire map filled with Jr. Lioner only (Garden of Yellow I) and the exp was the same as Cellions (a lot less mesos though).
- 10 leathers:
I already had 180 so...
And all I got was 4500 exp, 2 orange potions (!!!!!) and 3 mana elixirs... To complete this quest I maybe used a hundred mana elixirs and over a hundred white potions... As I said I did this quest only because I actually needed to train with Sakura Cellions, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.
Then I made another mistake: I tried the second quest in the chain... For this part you have to get:
- 20 White/Purple Gift Boxes:
another pain in the arse, only this time a lot worse since this is an even rarer drop than blossoms and the only monster that drops it is the pink teddy... That means traveling to Ludibrium and killing teddies like a madman. I decided to quit doing that when, after killing more than 600 of them (I can tell because I had collected more than 500 ribbons and not all of them drop a ribbon), I only found 4 boxes. I mean, it's a lot less exp than Cellions, a lot less mesos and their drop is useless (at least you can do the Orbis exchange quest with Cellion tails).
- 10 Lupin Dolls:
I tried to get them too but after completing the first two part of the Rowen the Fairy chain quest that meant killing more than 300 zombie lupins (in that map there were more normal lupins than zombie ones) and having only found 6 of them I decided to move to other quests.
- 10 Toy Baby Seal:
at least finding these is easy. You have to travel to Acqua Road for that but almost every Jr. Seal drop one of them. I did this part only because Seals also drop the message in the bottle that is needed to begin Robinson's quest that gives a Red Pilfer as final reward (it's a chain quest that give also more than 20000 exp and 2 fame).
Conclusion: Amoria quests suck!!!!!

I skipped those quests altogether.
Hm.... Do train at Sakura Cellions! They drop the gloves you need! Dark Cleave. They also drop a Red Moon set, which you will be needing at level 50. Try doing the ZLupin chain quest if you can; when you're a Thief you'll eventually get a Dark Pilfer. Otherwise Copper Drakes drop Red Pilfers (but rarely). I forgot where to get the shoes. I never found them.
Flyeyes drop Blue level 50 shoes, a gollem in FoG brown level 50 gloves. (I forgot which Gollem)

Yes, that's precisely my intention, train at Sakura Cellions They drop a lot of things that can be useful (even their leftover drop is useful).
Anyway, for the shoes Tick, Tweeter and Extra A drop the Black Red-Lined Shoes, the best level 40 thief shoe so I guess I'll train in ludibrium toy factory after collecting the 50 (!!!!!) garnet ores needed to make the shoes (that very same shoe btw).
However, seeking for the Korean Fan back when I was level 26 - 30 I learnt that if I'm to wait and drop the items I need I can wait forever, besides training at Drakes at the moment is quite expensive (in potions but at the moment I stocked quite a lot of cakes so it's no problem now) but succesful, I was able to reach level 41 in a couple of days (As I said I don't play that much).
Thanks for the info
P.s.: The Mixed Golem drop the level 50 glove, but they're level 59 By that time I sincerely hope I would be able to make it (the required items are not so impossible to get)

The level 50 thief shoes are easy to get
theres a quest in kft for them, all you have to do is kill 1 moon bunny O_O
Bands: Angels & Airwaves, Alice in Chains, Billy Talent
I know that quest (It's Opening Hongbu's Gourd (Level 37) right?) and I already done it but unfortunately it gives the Green Goni Shoes as reward and I'm aiming at the Red Goni Shoes that has +3 LUK instead of +3 DEX. I'm a normal LUK Bandit, not a low-DEX or DEXless.
I kept them anyway because I don't know if I'll be able to make the Red pair in time and 28 W.Def is surely better than 16 even if I lose the +1 LUK given by the Iron Chain Boots I actually wear.
If it's a quest not listed in the Hidden-Street database then, please, tell me when and who should I talk with to get it
Thanks for the infos anyway

If we're talking about the same quest, it's a pair of quests actually (but you can do only one of them), you can open either Honbu or Nolbu's Gourd. Each will give away level 50 shoes, if you open Honbu's you can choose between Mithril Hildon Boots (warrior) and Green Goni Shoes (thief) otherwise you can choose between Blue Gold-Winded Shoes (magician) and Brown Steel-Tip Boots (bowman).
Always trust Hidden-Street, Hidden-Street is wise I always check on it before accepting a quest.
Anyway, if you hadn't noticed, these are not the best shoes for that level (ok, depending on what build you chose).

Figures... the info on those quests was not out yet when I did them. I use HS a lot for questing too, but the drop-stuff is a bit confusing. The drops for MSEA are also listed at the GMS part.
