Level 100. pt1 -

Well, most of you know that I've made to 100

Many things happened around this time. I guess here I'll write down one of'em.

I sold my arund. At 99.9%. Yea. Well, it was a deal of a lifetime. 102/3 golden arund for 50mil and a 99 att arund?
It was then that I decided I should try scrolling again. Those of you that know me, scrolls aren't exactly too friendly towards me. Reminiscences about the lvl 80 incident has kept me away from scrolling since. Yet, seeing how all my friends, namely *coughtomcough*, all had so much success with their scrolling, there was no way for me to sit back while they became filthy rich. So I decided to go all out, using all of my funds, purchasing overpriced arunds in FM and bow 30%. How many was it... 9 arunds and 12 bow 30%, I think. At first I thought that there was no way I had enough 30% scrolls, but what the heck, let's go through it anyways. I'd have to end up with at least one good one to finish off with 60%

Here are the results:

89 (!)- blown on first shot. That baby cost me 15mil.

9 arunds. 12 bow 30%. not one scroll worked. Everything went down the drain. Say good bye to what could've been a 104 atk pre-scrolled

If I was any other person, I'd flip out, then flip back in again. Luckily, I had the support (not financial support, mind you) of friends and the guild.
Level 100 is a HUGE milestone too. I would've taken a long break anyways, so I wasn't at much of a loss, if any at all. So I spent the next few days on MS, mainly just doing some chatting, and browsing through FMs.

Then that magical day came.
Ikenoi the Saviour generously graces me with his presence, and charitably bestows upon me a 97/2 golden arund, with 2 slots left. So I, being the risk-taker I am, decided to slap a 30% on the baby. Without another 30%, the maximum stat it could obtain is a measly 101. I would not be happy with that. Either go all out, or don't do anything at all. Well, karils cough*unselfishly spares me a 30%.

Truth be told, I was surprised that my luck was turning around. 102/3 golden arund, 1 slot.
But no, not yet.
This time, instead of a 30%, I miraculously discovered a 5% scroll in an FM shop. Upon success, it gives the weapon 10 atk boost and 3 Dex bonus, but on the "off-chance" that it doesn't work, there's a 90% chance of the destruction of the item. Again, being the risk taker I am, I told tom (ikenoi) to slap it on. Maybe it was the breath of God, or my onion and garlic bagel breath, the scroll vividly lighted up, and transfered its mysterious power onto my weapon. I was now in possession of a 112/6 golden arund.

Nah i'm jk.

Tom used another 60%, given by a baron whose title is very juicy and tasty, and I was "blessed" with a 104/3 golden arund

But the significance here is not the bow. No, not in my perspective. It just goes to show how much generosity and trust can come from people you meet in the game. I'm fortunate that I'm in acquaintance with many of these noble characters. Those are the ones that make my time on MS worthwhile.
