Basil market is known as one of the most well known places to buy and sell items. To be fair, the auction system to buy things is far less chaotic and messy than in the "free" market (a mess of spam and pay to use shops). However, the Basilmarket forum has been given a bad reputation from the floods of false information and the “ban-happy moderators.” In site’s maintainers' view, "there's nothing wrong with the mods, but more of the fault of the users from not being able to cope with Basil’s policy". In actuality, Basilmarket’s monitors have been known be a bit “ban-happy” as many people have put it. A quick scan of the rules, however, would reveal that Basilmarket’s policy to begin with is, in fact, quite ban-happy. Stepping out of line even the slightest would usually net you a 24 hour ban from the forums. Or more commonly, a quarter of a month ban, and about 55% of the time, you might not be knowing what you did was bad in the first place.

For all that i said, and if you are fed up with being banned from left and right, please join this group

That's an incredibly old screen. July = 6 months ago.
Anyway, I think things are way different now that the mods are known, plus, the rules HAVE been changed. 6 months ago the rules weren't as detailed as they are now, and our suspension system was different. Now we can even leave a comment along with a suspension, to explain which rule was broken. I honestly believe that the forums are in much better shape than they were 6 months ago.

Wow, I wonder if you even bothered to read my post before starting a group complaining about a 6 month old suspension. >_> Did I make a mistake by taking your blog seriously?

We are not complaining about that single ban, just how you can be banned so easily for doing something not that bad. /couldn't find the right wording =[
