Im making a FF 3/6 boss guide and putting it here, ill be working on it for a while sooo if you need help with a certain boss post a question here or pm me..or something O.o
(Ill be getting stats and crap like that from gamefaqs, these are my strategys though) (also note, i dont use gau so he wont be here ) (maybe ill add some boss screens later on for fun, when i get around to them on my emulator)
Better yet, im gonna replay this on my emulator, and take some SS's from each boss fight and post them...maybe if i get seriously bored, ill redo my locke solo and video each boss, before the fight showing my equips, the fight and me winning *hopes he doesnt F it up lol*
Boss #1 Whelk

You have Terra Biggs and Wedge, Biggs and Wedge tell you at the start not to hit the shell...so like, dont otherwise you get hit with Megavolt which could kill you depending on who it hit and their HP. Use Tek Missle with Terra on the head, and have Biggs and Wedge use one of the beams, or heal. Easy boss

You can use one of three groups, Mog's Locke's or the moogle's. If you use Mog's group make sure you do two things, 1. Fight a normal fight with them so you can get his dance. 2. De-equip his shield and spear for someone to use later (Edgar gets the spear, whomever gets the shield). Locke's group, make sure you put some of the moogles in the back row so you have them at least somewhat protected, and kill the lobos first then go all out on marshal. Moohle's group, go all out? not much you can really do here but have them in the back row and attack .

You have Locke Edgar and Terra for this battle, you also start off in the back row if you were in the front (and vice-versa). Normal Strategy is have Locke attack, Edgar use Auto-Crossbow and Terra use fire on a single target (also nets you a funny skit ) also use Terra to heal when someone gets low as these guys hit hard. Easy strategy, Buy Edgar a Noise Blaster before the battle, and use it. They are Vulnerable to Confuse so use that to an advantage and only use MAGIC afterwards so they dont hit you.

Only Edgar Locke and Terra here, Use Auto Crossbow with Edgar and Attack with Locke, use Terra for healing via cure or potions, Note: at the start you can only hit the Ipoohs so take them out fast. After the Ipoohs die switch Edgar over to using the Bio Blaster instead, while having Terra alternate between attacking and healing, Locke just attack. After a few turns Sabin will show up to save you all, in order to win you need to do the Pummel Blitz, to do that Select Blitz, Then Push Left Right Left on the control pad then press A, nothing else. You should use Pummel and win.

Boss #5 Ultros (get use to seeing him)
(forgot to take a SS at the start, so terra is dead due to a single target tentacle doing 300 damage to her like 170 HP)

For this battle you have Terra Sabin Edgar and Banon. Please note BANON MUST NOT DIE OR GAME OVER. Have everyone in the back row for this fight. Terra should Defend til she is hit with a Single target Tentacle, then heal and use fire. Edgar should use auto crossbow or bio blaster, whichever works better. Sabin should use Aura Beam or Fire Dance depending on your level (and if you can actually pull it off). Banon should Constantly heal.
Boss #6 Phantom Train (This is Sabin's Scenario)

Sabin Cyan and Shadow for this battle. 3 ways to win also, 1. use a phoenix down on the train and you win, 2. Use an Elixer/ X-Potion on the boss and you win. 3. Throw Shurikens with Shadow, Aura Beam with Sabin and Dispatch with Cyan should kill him in a few turns, and you wont have to heal if your damage hits high enough.

This fight is with Sabin and Cyan. His El Nino attack will hurt if he uses it so, go all out with Dispatch and Aura bolt and hope you kill him fast.

For this fight you have Locke and Celes. Have Celes CONSTANTLY Runic, it absorbs all magic attacks the boss uses, meaning you wont get hit with them. Locke should have a Genji glove and Atlas Armlet on with your two best weapons (which should be Guardian and Air Lancet). What you could do is steal and get a second Air Lancet and use that instead. Otherwise use fight over and over unless someone is weak, in which case use a potion.

The first boss where you can choose your own party, from here on ill give a strategy for each char (besides Gau and Umaro because i dont use Gau and umaro does what he wants). Terra should focus more on healing (with potions if Celes is in the party) whoever is weak because at this point in the game Ice 2 HURTS. Locke can steal, then with a genji glove + running shoes/atlas armlet + 2 strongest weapons will be his best offense. Edgar should go all out with Bio Blaster. Sabin should use aura bolt/pummel depending on which is stronger. Cyan should use Dispatch. Celes should always use Runic unless someone is almost dead, or is the last alive somehow.
Boss Fight #9 Dadaluma

Vulnerable to: Imp, Petrify, Condemned, Mute, Sleep, Slow, Stop

Throw (Dirk), Throw (MithrilKnife), Steal
No Terra here, but you can have Shadow. Locke should attempt to steal the sneak ring, then attack/heal. Edgar should use Drill or Chain Saw. Sabin should use Aura Bolt. Cyan Dispatch away. Shadow should use a Shadow Edge then throw Shurikens. Celes can use Imp and make this battle alot easier, otherwise heal/ice/fight with her. After a bit he uses 3 tonics or potions and casts safe on himself. After he does so, dont use magic or Fight on him, that could cause him to use "Throw" and severely hurt your member who was hit. Just spam Blitz/Tools/Throw/Swrd Tech/Rage
Boss Fight #10 Ultros (Round 2)

The big old octopus is back and wants revenge. Still no Terra, Shadow leaves, and you also lose Celes thanks to her being in the opera. For this fight, Locke should go all out with genji glove atlas armlet and his two best weapons. Edgar should Drill/Chain saw away. Cyan should actually use Fight with his best weapon instead, because sword tech and blitz cause him to counter with Acid Rain, which can be bad. So with Sabin have him in the 3rd or 4th slot with a Fire Knuckle on and a Hero Ring (which you get from the house to the north Kohlingen, just check the pot ) and have him hit away.

You dont fight these at the same time, they switch in and out every once in a while. No Terra For this fight (still). Celes and Locke are forced in your party. Ifrit starts out fighting you. Have Locke equipped with the blizzard sword, hero ring and running shoes and attack for Ifrit, switch the blizzard sword out for the Flame Sabre agaisnt Shiva. Celes should Ice, Ice 2 if she knows it, agaisnt ifrit. Heal agaisnt shiva. Edgar should Drill/Chain Saw. Sabin should Pummel Ifrit and Fire Dance Shiva or Attack with Fire Knuckles agaisnt shiva. Cyan should dispatch.

This guy is always fun. You lose Celes before this guy, so the other 2 you had with Locke and Celes are in this battle. Locke should focus on healing with potions/cure/whatever you got, attacking is second priority. Edgar can either attack the body with Drill/Chain Saw or attack them all with Auto Crossbow/Flash. Sabin should probably use Fire Dance til the arms are gone, then Pummel or Aura Bolt, whichever is strong. Cyan just go Dispatch crazy.

Setzer joins in for this battle, along with Locke and your other 2 from before. Setzer can either use Slots or attack, whichever is fine. Locke can either heal with what you have, or attack with a Thunderblade on the Right Crane ONLY. If you hit the left one with the thunderblade it will power him up, which is bad. Sabin should use Pummel or Aura Bolt. Edgar Drill/Chainsaw and Cyan Dispatch. Easy battle here.
Boss #14 Flame Eater

For this battle you have Terra Locke and Strago. No exceptions here. Terra can use Ice/2 if she has it, or attack. Strago can just use Aqua Rake or attack with the Ice Rod you hopefully picked up in the house. Locke can equip dual Blizzards IF you got one from Number 024 AND you got it from the magitek factory also. If you only have one, dont dual wield. Simple as that. 
Boss Fight #15 The lovable Ultros

You have Strago Locke and Terra again. Relm shows up like Sabin did for Vargas in this battle. Strago should just fight with a Fire or Thunder rod equipped, or Heal your weak party member with the Heal Rod from this cave. Terra can either Fight with a Flame sabre on or thunderblade, or she can cast Fire 2 be warned, if you use magic after 5 spells he goes red and will then counter every fire spell with fire 3, every ice spell with ice 3 and same with bolt. Locke should Dual wield a Thunderblade and Flame Sabre (or two flame sabres) and just attack. After dealing 12,000 Hp of damage Relm comes in. Sketch him with Relm and you win.
