Preparing for Papulatus -

Haha, my god. This must be one of my most interesting maple days yet. I've started this morning (I've been home from school today), and I istantly decided to go to poke Ghost Pirates while conversating with our recently returned member AJ. It initially didn't go to well, as I gained 10% reaching 70%, but I died once getting back to freaking 62%. Eff. Three.

It's when Zoe logged on that things started looking up. I told her about having to complete the last Ludibrium quests in order to be able to access the Papulatos Clock Boss, and she said to be available immediately to help me. I was like "Wow, I'm in luck!", and went to wait for her at Death Teddies while she came there all the way from Vic (So nice of her, too. :3). The first step I had to complete was to collect 100 Mysterious Powders from Master Death Teddies, and I already had 77.

Zoe arrived and I got really enthusiastic, as we both proceeded into that forbidden portal. To be honest, I expected my perfomance to be a complete disaster. But against all my expectations, it actually turned out pretty decent. My additional phyisical damage from Fire Charge mixed with Zoe's Bless enabled me to survive without too much hassle even there, at the most dangerous 8x monster yet. The exp was pretty nice by the way... 800+ per kill in complete safety... it gave me a lot of % even in such a brief time. We completed the powder quest fairly quickly only to return to Mr. Buffoon. Now another quest awaited me, a much harder one.

Zoe still offered me her aid, and I couldn't really refuse it at that point seeing as that quest involved killing Grim Phantom Watches or Gigantic Spirit Vikings! My goal was to recover 3 pieces of Cracked Dimension apparently required to access Papulatus' room. Me and Zoe then descended to the deeper levels of the Forgotten Path of Time, more specifically the fourth. We chose to fight Grims since Zoe was pretty good there. We entered and I found I could still damage them with Power Guard, so I brought it on. Unfortunately, I suffered a big lag explosion that made me unable to use my pot, and Zoe was too far to heal me in that istant, so I died once getting back at 74%. ;_;

Zoe door'd me back at Grims where I grabbed my last piece of Dimension without dying again, and we went back to the start. Mr.Buffoon informed me that I need to be at least level 80 to go ahead with the quest. So I guess I'll complete it later

I still needed to make up the exp I lost, so I asked Zoe to help me train at MDTs for a while. She did fantastic and brought me to 90%-ish in a relatively short time before she had to go make dinner and leave me at Ludi alone. There was nowhere left for me to go at DTs or GPs to train. My hermit friend that is about my level then logged in, and told me he was going for DTs. I was like "Heh, coincidence.", then I told him I was training there too. So we partied and started killing a bit. After a few minutes, even Rhony logged in, so I told him we could use a healer. It didn't go as well as I hoped. Both of them died a couple of times, and Rhony had to log off only after 10 minutes. And Ido (the hermit) didn't really feel like training anymore after 2 deaths. So I gave up on that and went to Ghost Pirates.

I made the remaining experience there and leveled up quite smoothly after one hour. Other things left to be mentioned... I became friends with two really nice people, a Sniper and a Mage and I made a basil trade with the latter for a really awesome 6 INT Dark Galaxy which I sold the Mage to for 1.5 million mesos.

I'll keep you informed when I finally hit 80, the goal I actually want. f3
