which actually seems to work.
1. When someone calls you, and you
KNOW they're a phone soliceter, IE: Saying your name wrong, etc, here's what you do.
Say, "Hold on please.." and put your phone on the table. And just leave it there. Instead
of hanging up right away, this makes them wait and wait and wait. What fun!
2.If you get a phone call with no one on the other end, this is a method used by
telemarketers to find out when the REAL
best time is to make a real sales call. So
here is what you do. After answering, press the # button 6 or 7 times. This confuses the machine that dialed and kicks your number off their calling list. What a shame :[
3. If you get a lot of junk mail via utility or phone bills, send these ads back with your regular bill payment. Let them throw their own junk away. Jerks!
4. If you get "pre-approved" letters in the mail for everything from credit cards to 2nd mortgages or other crap, don't throw away the return envelope. Since most of these come with postage-paid return evnelopes, it costs them more than 41 cents postage IF and when they receive them back. It costs them about 50 cents if they get these postage-paid return envelopes. So send back all your junk mail in these postage paid envelopes. This way, it'll cut down on your ads that you receive, and make them pay for it..double!
