 So yeaaaah, a new patch just came out (and an emergency came one after that) recently, but I haven't logged in MS that long just yet. So, what has Ark been doing now? Using up the last days of his 2x Exp cards. There was a recent thread in Sleepywood.net on the usage of this cards, and well, I agree with the people saying that because of those cards, grinding became a chore to many Maplers. [ thread I was talking about ] Some factors why I'm not playing as much as I used to: I'm back to work, but the bus schedules changed. What used to be arrival at home at 5:30 PM became 6:30 - 7 PM. It took a lot of my time, since I had to have my family time, err...console gaming time, etc. Second, as already mentioned, I play another game; albeit a console one. I have a soft spot for anime-style RPG's, incredible storylines, and have a perfectionist attitude. Deadly combination. It meant bye-bye Maple for a while now...HOWEVER, I may return playing MS again soon, because I just read Maple's Story. ^^ It definitely changed my perspective on the game.  Besides, I'm Operation Arkizael-Fades-Away is in effect, ain't it right, Kels? When I reach 130, I doubt I'll play much. If I do, I'll probably aim for the top helmless character in GMS lololol. Who knows, for sure. I played MS from boredom, and from boredom I shall rid myself of it...>_> Although I'll miss my friends lot...Last, I bought my DS! Yay~ Now, can anyone recommend me a good game for it THAT IS NOT POKEMON? It can also be for Gameboy Advance/SP. I heard Final Fantasy VI is good as I saw a lot of good reviews about it, so I might probably buy that next. Thanks. ^^ Anyways, thanks for reading! I don't have my SS's in this computer...I'll probably edit this again when I get back home and put some silly pics. EDIT: Here we go...some of my pics. The first one's my first and only survived Zakum run. Next, is my level 129...last level up. -_- The other one's my store mule, and well, the chatbox tells all. Kels calls me a meany...hmm what else...oh yeah, my Zakum arm kill. lol (white experience~ woot!) Plus, I spy Alen blinking! Mwahahaha |

blah i'm done with maple and other games. well my lil bro got a wii and i play it sometimes lol. i read that sleepywood thing about the stories in maple and it was really eyeopening. tho i doubt the average maple player would spot it. i dont play ms anymore cuz of schoolwork and for some reason maplestory makes me REALLY tired after i play it.

Awww...I guess I understand from your previous blog entries about your life going better now that you've quit Maple. But yeah, it makes you wonder what made you attracted to the game in the first place, doesn't it? I liked the stories too; and it's a possibility that they made me feel motivated somehow. Because, part of the reason of playing games is to finish a story, somewhat. I play RPG's to know the endings, I guess. I don't wanna know spoilers because I don't want to spoil the ending for me. Who knows, when you come back someday, you'll be a Bowmaster, eh? See you soon, Robin. ^^

the last time i logged on to maple i died =(
i shouldnt have died! it was not posible! but a hacker just had to bring all those blue spiders on the top platform and i died. etheir way i just dont wanna log back and look at the lost exp. i was almost lvl 77 too.. oh wells. i started playing maple cuz well.. i really wanted friends but for some reason i was too afraid to talk in real life.. yea maple worked pretty well for a while but now i dont like meeting maple ppl anymore cuz i cant tell the difference between ppl on there, well unless i knew them for a long time. but i constantly mixed ppl's usernames up and stuff. in the end i just realized i liked to play maplestory with real life friends instead of the ppl i meet on maple.. so i guess i outgrew online gaming...

Anyways, it's good for you that you found a new way of life. Actually, you're blessed that you have approachable people around you. You got your confidence that would've been supressed had you still kept on playing Maple, and that's good, Robin. ^^ Tell you what; play only for fun, and live real life to the fullest. If no one can help you with your problems IRL (-cough- psychiatrist -cough-) then log on to Maple, and you know, talk to us. (albeit we're online friends, nothing personal.)

RL friends for me take time for them to be in my comfort zone, then that's when I could joke with them, etc. I don't make friends easily, but if I do, then they should stick around with me for me to befriend them and know that they're interested in becoming friends with me. =)
