People quitting maple. (I am always ranting about this)
Ok, you may think, "So what?", but some people do it for the dumbest reasons.
Now Im not Im not aiming this at the guild, but maplers in general, more or less.
People that say it's boring. If it's that boring, then why are there still a shitload of people still playing? Make your own fun and if that's too hard, take a break or find something else.
People that say there's too much drama. You know, Ive noticed. The people that say there's too much drama are people like STiBlofe, you know, the people that ASK for it pretty much. If it's all too dramatic for you, try asking yourself, "Could I possibly be drawing attention to myself?". Maybe going out of your way to ks SoupMonster isn't such a good idea, and maybe dressing up like Tiger wasn't exactly smart after all. P.S Choose your friends wisely >.>
People that say it's ruining their life. Oh come on, do people not know self control? It's not like someone is holding a cattleprod to your back and saying "You must play!". If there is, I suggest calling the police. But I highly doubt there is. If MS is ruining your life, learn how to balance it or it's really going to kick you in the ass one day. If you can't learn self control, how will you be able to balance work/school/social life/family/friends?
People that say they're gonna quit because of all the reasons stated above, and 2 weeks later, theyre still there whining away. It really does get irritating, especially if you do it over the smegas. God, I don't like people quitting and all, but if you say you're going to, at least do it. That, or shut up.
Ok now with that said, I know there are very valid reasons to quitting, personal issues or even just moving on, and the reason for may apply to the above. But the way some people phrase what they say just annoys me, it's so whiny sometimes. >.>
Also, in regards to the "catering for the lower levels" thing. I was just thinking, if theres nothing there to cater for them, how will they get to the higher levels? And last I checked, you had to be lvl 1 before you could be lvl 100. Yeah sure, the ammount of areas is getting ridiculous, but just think, once theyre all out of the way, only higher level places left to patch, ya know?
Well I'm done, feel free to comment or tear me limb from limb, just make sure I have an arm and a leg left, I gotta buy christmas presents later and that's all I have to buy them with.

also im thinking low level stuff should be capped for a while, the only good thing in tthe last patch for anybody 70+ was the NLC storage npc *does sarcastic happy dance*. i worked hard to get to the level im at now (wich is not nearly as high as most of you guys) and now we are getting all this stuff to get 3rd job in a couple months (i will be happy when i seriously start leveling my bowman one day, BUT THATS NOT THE POINT XD).
anyways i just fell like venting a little bit, hafta get back to studying now >.> ISCHEAMIC HEART DISEASE HERE I COME !!!!!!

yes maple can get seriously addicting, and i find it very hard to control myself. even right now i'm supposed to be doing my hw. bye now. (thanks for reminding me XD)

Nah nika, once they run out of low level places they're gonna create their own low level places haha. And i'm not understanding most of your post...are you bitching at ppl that quit the game? I mean ms did get boring after a while so I slowed down. If I felt it was still interesting I'd be playing, but surely not any post or what anyone else's opinion can effect what I think about this game. Some find it fun, some don't. Just cause you do, doesn't mean it's fun for others. I enjoyed the game in its high time but I could completely understand why others who don't like ms would say its boring. It's pretty repetitive and simplistic and if you're into that then you'll love this game but if you're not then you'll just find it rather bland and boring. But just cause playing the game is boring doesn't mean it isn't fun to come on and chat to others who still play.
i agree with illogik, not like i quit or anything its just that i got school and other things to worry about ya im not often anymore cuz of school, but it doesnt mean i cant come on and chat with people...

i agree with illo. the game has lost its interesting charm that it once had. leveling is painfully slow for me, and i cant imagine what its like for people like manda and jules and the rest of the 100+ people in the guild. i think people are quitting because they had high hopes of nexon giving us something good like showa or leafre, but since all they have given is just useless crap (like hen pq) people are irritated. i myself am taking a break until they put some decent things on the table. ive kinda lost interest in the game and what nexon is doing isnt really helping.

Yeah if that's it then i agree with you 100%. It's pointless to play a game if you not into it. Either stop playing or stop complaining. On another note i miss the old days how it used to be when we could all get together and do something fun. Too bad nexon couldn't keep that up and everything just got extremely repetitive. I yearn for the day we get some better updates like another version of aqua dungeon or ludi dungeon and some more boss monsters that we could participate in and everyone comes back but until then its extremely hard to stay focused when you've been on the same map killing the same monster for a whole year now. I hope you guys are all doing fine while we're in this rut. Once 4th job or atleast some other good training grounds is out ima be back in action.
Ya know, ur right, I admit, I was a bit outrageous with my rants on the anger towards new lv 40-50 towns, but you do make a point, once they're added, nothing left to add BUT our high level areas AND 4th job! I guess I was just gettin blinded by what was going on in front of me now instead of thinking logically, and that makes me feel very foolish, since I normally AM a rational thinker. But oh well, thanks for the PoV that opened my eyes Nika ^_~

Lol no prob. I just felt like I was repeating myself so yeah, my fustration in a nutshell. But you are right too, too many nub areas even for my liking >.>

They did leave some cliffhangers in NLC, like that portal on the sphinx that doesnt work, or how door takes you to that eerie place with no music, just monsters, and you can't leave it unless you die (That place scares me, Nika gets very uneasy around silence), and just with the whole NLC rising out of the ocean, they have GOT to estend on that somehow and I doubt they'll do it with nub maps.
On a side note, someone said that the last patch had the info for showa too, hence why it was 6 hours. Rumours? Maybe...But then explain the return scrolls to showa you get in lmpq, which haven't been removed even after that emergency patch.
