My dad had this band called Nervous Wreck in the 80's. He was the bassist and he tried to be Steve Harris, his long-time idol and bassist for Iron Maiden. That band was semi-successful and well known locally but hadn't been signed. My aunt's fiancee's brother, Randy, was in the band Fear Of God, who was more successful than Nervous Wreck and actually got signed and went on tour around the world. They've since changed thier name to F.O.G. because of another band by the same name. And they split up. My second cousin's band (not sure what it is) currently does a few gigs in bars. My second cousin, Dave, idolizes Bruce Dickinson. He is the lead singer of Iron Maiden. Randy took lessons from Sam White, who just so happens to be my guitar teacher. Let's do the math. Good teacher + idolizing an Iron Maiden member = Success. So I have to ask, should I try to be Janick Gers, Dave Murray, or Adrian Smith? :]

Nevermind, people; I chose Adrian Smith. After watching his stance and how he plays, I think I play more like him already. But I think I'll get Janick's hair, lol. Frizzy and blonde, dude, it makes everything better. x]

I'm so busy all the time now, though.

I can't be myself, I'm not awesome enough. And Alice Cooper said in his biography that mimicing people gets you far. It got him far.
