I posted these up because I felt like it. They are also some of my first MEANINGFUL poems...
Bound by Guilt
In a dark and neglected room,
I see Mother Nature's wounded body
lying on the mossy floor.
She is crying.
She is bleeding.
She is screaming.
She longs for the sunshine-filled meadow
where she would skip among the bright blue flowers
and where the woodland creatures
would sing at her mere presence.
She yearns for the life she once lived.
I look at her sadly, and walk away.
The Fresh Morning Mist
I remember a time,
where I would wake up,
walk out of my house,
and see a whole new adventure
in front of me.
I remember seeing
the towering oaks
and the barrage of green leaves
and the fresh morning mist
and the sound of trotting deer
and the scent of drying rain.
And as I walk deeper in the woods,
I find my family waiting for me,
to start a whole new adventure,
remembering a time,
where I would wake up...

1.) That is the images the poem is creating, thus enforcing the actual meaning and message of the poem.
2.) My TONE of the subject, is simpathetic and is NOT emo. In fact, you should be calling HER emo and not me.
