You can also set hyper scroll to kick in when spinning the wheel at a certain speed if want.

Nice. They were $49 new at best buy on Black Friday. Anyway, I can't wait till I get my fixed one. Even if the scroll wheel on it also wears out as soon, the mouse is still far superior to any other I've used, particularly since it's configurable on a per-program or per-game basis.
If you find that ctrl, alt, or shift gets stuck (if you set such shortcuts to the mouse), check out the uberoptions mod for the logitech setpoint software, they have a workaround. I have it linked here: link
