Yeah, we got all the fans on high and a mini Ac in my parents' room. However, it turns out the whole AC unit's broken. Getting a new one: $4000.

Interesting.. I had the exact same thing as you. But I was using Firefox. It happened when I was messing around with the website doing stuff thats not my business.
I got it to fix by completely wiping the program of my computer. But you're using IE, and you cant install an alternative...
I assume you tried cleaning cash, force refresh, deleting temporarily internet files and all that stuff? Also what version do you have ?

Hmm, I've been avoiding the Basil community for a long time. The only time I go there is for some lulz. Sleepywood.net is overall a better community do discuss ideas. Check out this thread. Nevermind, I see you have already posted on that thread twice 
As for the people that bash you for believing in science... they live by the saying "Ignorance is bliss". They bash science because science is proving things wrong that were taught in their religion.
I would love to live in a country who's leaders had no religious influence. It disgust me seeing political figures using God to justify what they are doing. Bush and god. There are tons more videos like that...
Anyway, to a lighter subject. The Beatles are awesome. Some songs you should check out are "Hey Jude", "Let it be" or course, "Yesterday" (Little Fact: Yesterday is the most covered song in the world), and my favorite "Eleanor Rigsby". Look out for the album "Beatles: One" It's a compilation of all their #1 hit singles (30 songs). As for the song your choir sang, that was Simon and Garfunkel - The Sounds of Silence.
