Haha for your orchestra? I read your blog and I feel for you (although, I'm not sure how much that means since I'm not musically intuitive). I think what's most important in school is to have good teachers. Teachers that actually care for their students. To me, those teachers just do it for the money, which is absolutely the wrong way to approach education.

It's funny, because when I took Calculus there were two optional teachers: one that could really explain the concepts thoroughly but was an incredibly hard marker, and the other who couldn't explain anything but was an easy marker. I took the harder one, and my marks paid the price but I'm glad I did it. I could really care less if the teacher is a brilliant academic, if he doesn't care about the students then there's nothing to gain from class.

Not too good either. Financially I'm fucked for university, my teachers are a combination of idiots and strict markers and my sleeping habits are killing me. I'm averaging 4 hours of sleep for no reason whatsoever.
