First off, merry X-mas. Secondly, Arans are actually really fun. Despite me and my resistance to making one, my friends FINALLY got me into making one; having a 30-50 level head start on me. Within 36 hours, I've gone from a newly made Aran to level 30 with the 2nd job adv test completed. My blog explains more in-depth.

I coudln't Keelan. I'd be half afraid me simply JOINING BasilMarket would spawn drama. I don't really want to end up being another one of those idolized Beginners either. I never made icy because I wanted to be worshipped; I did it by accident and then I just kept at it.

And I've noticed the Beginner community rapidly shrinking. In Broa there used to be a lot of Beginners on. Now it's a cold lonely world. I have a few Beginner friends there still, but most of them either quit their Beginners, are playing another character *cough*aran*cough*, or just gave up on MapleStory altogether. To give you an idea, our Beginner guild had like 10 people on at least once every few days. Finally it got to the point it was so inactive I left and simply played on guildless by choice.

So Ben is long gone now in other words? Anyway, I've been building up a second account just incase I get hacked (doubt it though because I don't password/PIN share with any friends) and I almost have a 4x Fighter going and a mid 40s sin. I'm still going to make a big comeback Keelan; just wait =p. I'm at about 5% right now.

Neither have I. Everyone's always like "if u dun make an aran ur a noob!" Conformists I swear. If I DO make one, it'll be like when I made my Wind Archer; long after the period everybody worships the new job.

Arans are polearm Warriors that are supposed to be overpowered (at least on paper.) They are legendary warriors that were condemned to an icy prison when they failed to defeat the Black Mage, the central villain of the Maple World.
Like you, I have Beginner-related goals at this point too; mine's simply to get to level 72 short-term. If you haven't noticed, I did decide to continue playing my Beginner because it gets boring overpowering the mobs I train on with my White Knight and Wind Archer. Besides, mediocrity FTW  . I plan to start an Aran next Thursday once the big "rush" is over, although I am mildly concerned my Primitive Boar hunting may be cancelled due to Arans taking over the map.But at any rate, I really want to get to 85 so I can get some Sky Skis and later drop my DEX another 10-20 points to maximize my damage output. Seeing I only need 74 Accuracy to 100% hit the Boars, what good is it doing me to have over 130 Accuracy? Even if I move onto things with high Avoidability, I have plenty of money, so I could get some Amorian Baskets or simply stop being a grouchy loner and befriend some Cleric/Priest that's willing to Bless me.

Anyway, do you have any Cyngus Knights besides your Noblesse? Are you going to make an Aran when the patch comes out? Fill me in on how you've been =)
EDIT: Keelan, I have a question. If you were in my shoes with a 101/7 White Mop, would you sell it when the "ZOMFG Arans PWN!" era comes out or just hold onto it? Just wondering what you would do.

I just thought that you did Keelan. I apologize for that. I guess I took things too seriously when someone claimed a Khainian Beginner was slandering me on Basilmarket or Sleepywood's forums. Now that I think about it, it was probably just something done to make me quit playing icy89firaga. Now I feel stupid as crap for thinking like that.
By the way, I am sorry for attacking not only you guys in Khaini, but Alyssa as well. If it's not a problem, could you tell her I'm sorry and that I'll stay out of her way from now on? I don't WANT enemies man.
