Right now we're fretting again because the old computer is working every day for 6 hours and my father does't want to throw it away. >_> My oldest younger brother has "decided" I canot have the screen of the old broken one because it is "too good and you just want the best stuff for yourself". Hm, what does he want with it. He has a brand new laptop. XD
Anyway, I was secretly hoping a screen from a Packard Bell fits on a Dell. He says Dell is "impregnated", so only Dell stuff fits on it. I though pretty much every screen has the same plug, though, The screen of the Vista (It's of the brand HANNS-G, hm, looks German) fits on the broken computer and the screen (Packard Bell) of the broken computer fits on the old computer which has a screen by Daewoo. Dee... dea.... Well, that car brand. (a plug that you have to screw to the computert with two pins)
An the sound system has two plugs; one for a subwoofer and one for sound boxes, but he says that's the same. I haven't checked the back of the Vista ("Medion", never heard off), but the sound comes from the screen adn it is awful!

My parents will be emptying the Hard Disc of the old computer onto that of the Medion (it IS a nice word) using memory sticks and all that stuff. Nobody in my family is technical enough to bust out and install a hard drive from one computer into the other.

The basic idea is now that I will either hook up the old broken one to the Internet, use it as a game game conmputer and use the Medion for working, or that I buy a computer and we interchange the screen between my computer and the broken computer, OR I'm going to buy a new computer and we're going to throw the old computer away.

No clue what it's really going to be. XD But I do want a new computer! There's more social control here than in a prison! My parents check every 10 minutes what I'm doing and they even read my e-mails when I'm mailing! Arrrgh!

Guess what, you're right! I found a computer, a desktop, not a laptop, but it's from Dell and it's got a pretty neat price. 219 Euro, that's about 340 or so bucks. (I think) I forgot about the Gigaherz thing, but's it's got a Duo Core Processor, 2048 KB RAM and 160 GB hard disc space. It comes without a screen, but I'll use the screen of the old computer.

I've grow quite attached to that thing. It's stupid, growing attached to something like a computer, but it has served me so well for the past 6 years and now we're just going to have to throw it away!
