2) Swords are more powerful in my opinion. Blunt Weapon is for those who like BW's, want to see a higher max damage even at the cost of min and slash/stab ratio, and for those who want to be different. Price won't be as big of a deal after Leafre.

3) In my opinion yes, because unlike most other classes in the 2nd job they have insane mobbing skills, and insanely high HP as well as damage reduction, while still having a powerful attack (just no long range). In the 3rd job, it's also fun, but the fighting style doesn't change much and you don't have to constantly buff your party members. It get's boring at 115+, but remember that Leafre will be out by the time you even get to 100, which will change that thanks to Wyverns.

1) They actually level really fast, with or without warrior elixers (pills if not). You just gotta train at the right maps, use the right techniques (like mobbing at certain maps), and have decent gear as well as speed (120% with pill possibly? Unless you are rich enough for a good pink cape).
