Oh god. I think my computer just exploded. Is there a chance the RAM could suddenly just...not work anymore? I started it up just now and it took 10 minutes just to get to the login screen. I didn't bother with logging on. What is going on? The only changes I made yesterday was downloading a movie using a torrent and installing AVG and scanning my comp. I'm really tempted to take apart my computer and see what's going on.

Eh Eric....bother helping me? My computer's been screwing up a lot lately.
I upgraded to 1 GB RAM a few months ago and it's been really fast, but lately, everything has gone slow. The internet just suddenly for whatever reason freezes while I'm on MS, and I'm having to end task it every time. When I had the 512 MB stick, yeah, sure it would go a bit slow when I have MS open and am using the internet. Sometimes it would freeze, but it would go back to responsive about 10 seconds later and it would never completely freeze. I'm just wondering, since I've done all things possible such as cleaning up my HD and getting rid of useless processes. Computer's about 4 years old btw. Broadband with a network connection to a laptop.
