Hmm.. I have this odd thing, where I have my thumb behind the bass..... and my other fingers are I the front doing the work.. That wont work with all basses -_- I kinda devoloped a habbit out of it D: I shall try with the thumb on the pickup I played a Stingray in a music place a few weeks ago.. I'd like to say it was amazing, but unfortunatley I can't thanks to the fact that it was horribly out of tune and I still lack the ability to tune my instrument -.- I would've had my brother(yes, he can do everything, including play bass better then me! D: ) tune it, but he spent half the time playing around with the Epiphone Thunderbird(AKA the bass I'll most likley be getting first), and we had to go by the time he was done, only allowing me to play an out of tune Stingray for 5 minutes I wanted to experience it to the fullest!!! D:

Hmm.... how could I explain.. it's kinda like, a backwards slap deal.. I basicly smack my finger at the string(towards the fretboard), rather then just picking it upward.
Oh, and you reminded me.. a few days ago, one of the wires in the bass like broke off the thing(and my brother was screaming at me though I did nothing -.-), and yesterday my brother was trying to fix it.. he took off the strings, the neck the back plate thing that leads to the wiring near the amp plug thing(I forget what it's called D: ).... he took off the back plate first, but guess what?! All it was, was a single wire, RIGHT there.. but he went a disassembled the whole thing before he noticed!
