Your cat's a lot bigger than Dutchess then, but still smaller than Yoyo. But then Dutchess may have some growing left, since she's only a year old. Yoyo is 4, and Brandy turns 15 tomorrow.

Does your cat also weigh less than my newborn niece? (Dutchess is a year old. My newborn niece Krysta weighs about 7 lb.)

Ok so basically she does a shorter version of my daily routine which then at the end of each session allows her to focus on other exercises that I do not do. Pictures of most exercises are on the blog.

Day 1: Chest

DB chest press 3 sets of 8-10 reps
BB incline bench press 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Flies 3 sets of 8-10 reps

Day 2: Shoulders

Shoulder press (machine or db) 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Side lateral raises 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Reverse flies 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Upright rows 3 sets of 8-10 reps

Day 3: Arms

Ez-bar curls 3 sets of 8 -10 reps
Assisted dips 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Hammer curls 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Rope tricep extensions 3 sets of 8-10 reps

Day 4: Back

Wide grip pulldowns 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Deadlifts 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Seated row 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Assisted chin ups 3 sets of 8-10 reps

Ok so at the end of these she goes off on her own to do some exercises that I do not do, I call these the “Fillers”

Filler 1: Abs
Crunches
Plank
Leg raises

Filler 2: legs
Leg press
Calf raises
Leg curls

Filler 3: Cardio
10-15 min of any form of cardio.
So she cycles through those fillers.

We go most days because the exercises use isolated muscle groups, and have time to recover before we do them again.

I honestly think the one thing that trainers fail to tell females is to do free weights. Although my "training partner" used to run most days before I knew her, the cellulite she had did not go away until I started her on weights. It took a while for her to get used to being the only girl in the weights section but the results spoke for themselves. If you are still keen I will post our routine.

Tell me what you aim to achieve, what kind of equipment you are able to have access to and what you would say your current physique is like. I actually train with a 19 year old girl 90% of the time and she looks incredible now so I definitely think I can help
