I wasn't too bad at my figure drawing class. Turns out I can draw people in normal proportions and NOT mangle them badly. But I prefer the large heads thing. Instead of making people 7.5 heads tall, I make them about 5-5.5

I know what you mean. Right now, I'm only imitating anime/manga style, only with slightly "off" proportions. Mostly, just the big heads. But I like that part. 
Oh, how I want my own style... But I'm not really sure about how to get one going or anything. I just need to get better... I'm not even imitating all that well.

I used to take art classes. I did a couple in Junior High and in high school, but my style is 100% self-taught. I'm always so jealous when I see people's Deviantart accounts and they're really active and pump out perfect stuff all the time.
I need to work on a lot, still.

I checked out your deviantart. I never knew you were so good at drawing! My DA is still quite uninspiring. Dunno where I'm going with my anthro characters I've been experimenting with, and I haven't posted a whole ton else there, either.

I think I might get a tablet soon! (Like next week). It's a Medion tablet 10"X6.22" for 50$ from Aldi. Man I love Aldi. Cheap and generic ftw!
