Anyways, Dante is trying to protect Nero, in their fight, Dante only shoots the bullets and blocks the sword and bringer. He doesn't want to hit Nero. Nero is a big @##$$&.

and nero's devil bringer doesn't compare to dante's ebony and ivory moves, his moves like free rider, and bullet rain, and dante has humor. Besides, Dante is the main character in DMC4 as well(they said after 3/4 of the game or so) I'm guessing Nero dies after he finds out that the order of the sword was evil!
