Dude, I think it was a pretty wise move, if it didn't scream "I'm pandering" so much. I think it might work, but it still smells too much like "come to me real conservatives/disgruntled women voters still upset about Hillary", but I guess we'll see.

It's funny how the Conspicuous Consumption changed over the years. Until the 20th century men were the subject of CC (seriously, I'm NOT going to spell out that word any more!) because they were to show off with their wealth (they dressed up their wives to show off, but the clothing didn't belong to the wives) and now it's a female trait. When I look at commercials of LellyKelly, Geox etc etc it's all "Be beautiful or be a loner! (Geox for boys advertises with s uperhero, while Geox for girls advertise with being "an idol and megacool"
 Commercials are applying to men as well, now, men have to look good too and buy nice cars and watches, etc. But when a man dares to wear a pinkring... Ohhh, duck!
