They often create "proof". The Bible, for example, is enough proof for them, while to me it's just a nearly 2000 year old book written according to the consensus of that time. Or us being here, human beings having reason, thunderstorms, a sick child getting better.... It's all proof.
I call it coincidence, but meh. I'm a very critical person. Kinda like the Scandinavian god of wisom. I forgot his name, but anyway: he was so wise that he always doubted everything and because of that the other gods through he was stupid.

I don't really know how religious people think. I was in a rather heated discussion with MIndstormer once who got his proof from law of physics (or maybe The Law of Physics, whatever) that said matter cannot appear out of nothing, and that therefore there must be a God that has created that matter. My reply of "But how did God come into existance" was answered by four different people with "He was always there and if you don't know you're realy stupid".
I don't know how matter was created out of existance, or, if it were created by anti-matter, how that anti-matter came into existance, but then I also don't know how something like a God could "always have been here". I mean, the perpetuem mobile doesn't exist, as far as I know, or in any case, it has not been made yet. (I totally managed to flip out Syko by using that term, by the way XD)
I can't grasp it.
I don't know how religious people can be so sure of themselves. Now I did see a part in the newspaper in which someone attributed EVERYTHING to God and Satan ("Satan sure was mad when I wrote this article; while writing it a filling just fell out of my tooth and a Tax paper fell in the mailbox!" Hell, I had my wisdom teeth pulled out last MOnday, but I can tell why; it's because my toothbrush can't reach them, which is because of genetics, etc etc. And I also pay tax.), that's how you can do it too.
Maybe it's self deception. Maybe it's not.
It's hard.
But though I like writing blogs about these issues, I won't sleep one night less because of them. ^^
In contradiction to what people think I'm not EMO for not knowing what will happen after my death, I mean, either I'll go to Hell, which is my bad, or I'll go to Heaven, which would be nice, or I'll vanish into oblivion. About that I don't care, cause I'll be oblivious of that. And why be afraid of death when it's inevitable anyway?
